Following Munich (January) and Beijing (May), the Dip-Tech sales, marketing, operations & graphic and support teams has completed their “world tour” with the 5th annual North America Customer Meeting, held in Providence, Rhode Island, USA on June 26-28, 2017.
Boasting the largest attendance to date, over 31 participants representing 18 of the leading glass fabricators in USA and Canada, it was an event to remember!
Participants enjoyed three days in relaxed meeting and social settings where they were encouraged to ask questions, exchange ideas, and collaborate on ways to enhance their overall productivity and business as well as discuss ways to stimulate industry growth.
The 2017 Customer Summit had a slight change in format from previous years. Instead of diving directly into presentations and lectures, the program began a day earlier with a site tour hosted by local glass fabricator WGM of Whitinsville, MA. Chip Rogers, President of WGM and Josh Foster, General Manager, lead the group on a factory tour as well as provided insight to some of the rapid growth WGM has seen over the past 18 months.
Days 2 and 3 of the Summit showcased a mixture of guest speakers and Dip-tech experts presenting on topics such as best practices to promote your digital glass business, tips and guidelines to ensure high quality printing, digital printing vs screen printing, the future of decorative glass and more. Innovative techniques in sales and marketing for digitally printed glass, was another topic that many of the attendees found informative and applicable to their day to day business practices.
Additionally, business owners, sales and marketing managers, production managers, graphic designers and operators showed a high level of interest in the one on one session with Dip-Tech experts. These specialized meetings provided participants with the opportunity to work with experts from the Dip-Tech team, and address items specific to their individual business growth.

We are grateful to all who attended. It was great to see everyone and we learned a lot from all who participated. We hope to capitalize on the enthusiasm and positive energy that was generated throughout this meeting and apply it to future initiatives as well as let it guide us in the planning for the 2018 North America Customer Summit.
